Job summary

The Firebrand Hotel in downtown Whitefish is seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent to join our Front Desk Team at $20 hourly. Excellent communication and computer skills are required, with a focus on guest satisfaction and professional conduct.

Experience with resort software or RDP is a plus. The role includes shifts that may include evenings and weekends, with benefits and employee discounts available through Averill Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both in person as well as over the telephone.
• Computerliterate.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Formerwork with resort computer systems and/or RDP a plus.
• Abilityto maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
• Requiredto act as a sales representative.
• Mustpossess excellent business sense and high professional ethics.
• Mustpossess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a guest customer service agent, reservations and front office general worker.
• Deal closely with all aspects of the department to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lodge tasks (as assigned by MOD and department management), including but not limited to shuttle scheduling, e-mail information requests, guest packages, lost and found and retail sundries.
• Work closely with housekeeping, concierge and valet.
• Work with resort software, office equipment and phone switchboards.
• Be flexible and available for shifts.
