Job summary

Shaner Hotels’ Hampton Inn & Suites Destin is seeking a friendly front desk associate to manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle payments, and provide information about local attractions.

You will work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction, print daily reports, and resolve discrepancies with Housekeeping, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Process payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information and services to guests in a friendly manner.
• Distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including weekends/holidays.
