Job summary

Four Seasons Puerto Rico is seeking a guest‑facing Front Desk Agent to welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations and payment methods, and ensure smooth check‑in and checkout experiences.

You will handle guest requests, assist with pre‑arrival communications, and support guest satisfaction with a friendly, professional demeanor in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in using name and ensure correct room type and rate.
• Check guests out, post charges, and present final bill.
• Assist with luggage and escort to rooms when needed.
• Maintain a balanced cash/ bank and reconcile transactions at shift end.
• Assist with Pre-Arrival emails and respond to Chat messages for Concierge/FD.

About the location:

Nestled along a two-mile (3.2-kilometre) stretch of beach in Puerto Rico’s Bahia Beach community, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is also surrounded by its own 483‑acre (195‑hectare) private nature reserve. The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.

About the role

Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

What you will do

Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Escort guest to the room if Guest Relations Agent is not available and sent a Chat to the guest

Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.

Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.

Assist with Pre-Arrival emails, monitor all Chat messages for Concierge, Guest Relations and FD, write special occasion card/notes, assist with special occasion set up.

What you will bring

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role,in a luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Requires the ability to multi-task on several items at once.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operating systems and experience with Opera.
• Candidate must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication in both English and Spanish language required
