Description

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to represent our hotel. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting with check-in/out, handling guest requests, providing information about the hotel and local area, and maintaining the lobby's appearance. The role involves ensuring guests have a memorable experience and monitoring guest flow.

Essential Duties

  1. Process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify reservations, and assign rooms.
  2. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  4. Handle guest complaints professionally.
  5. Assist with luggage, transportation, and other guest needs.
  6. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  7. Conduct security walks.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hotel operations and local area information.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to learn safety and emergency procedures.
  • Understanding of cash and credit handling policies.
  • Physical ability to handle objects up to 80 pounds and perform related physical activities.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of PMS and CRM systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
