Job Description

Front Desk Agents provide a five-star welcome and departure experience, serving as ambassadors during guests' stay. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing hotel and local area information, offering amenities and services, settling accounts, resolving issues, and coordinating with hotel departments.

Responsibilities

  1. Process guest check-ins and check-outs following Omni’s standards.
  2. Listen empathetically to guest inquiries and respond appropriately.
  3. Set up accurate guest accounts based on preferences.
  4. Block rooms and prepare key packets.
  5. Communicate guest requests and pertinent information to relevant departments.
  6. Maintain confidentiality and ensure security of guest information.
  7. Ensure accurate settlement of folios and routing of charges.
  8. Maintain guest history files and accommodate room changes.
  9. Document and resolve guest requests or complaints promptly.
  10. Issue and secure safe deposit boxes and keys.
  11. Manage guest faxes and generate reports.
  12. Coordinate with Housekeeping on room status.
  13. Stay informed about hotel features, services, and promotions.

Qualifications

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  2. Efficient data entry and computer skills.
  3. Ability to work well with others and under pressure.
  4. Previous customer service and hotel front desk experience preferred.
  5. Fluency in a foreign language and guest relations training are a plus.
