The front desk team member provides information and resources for residents and guests to ensure a meaningful visit. This role acts as a key employee liaison, delivering exceptional customer service to all community guests and residents.

Duties and Essential Functions

  • Greet all guests professionally upon entry, maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to update and maintain all unit owner information in the database.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing calls with proper phone etiquette, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Report any violations of community Rules and Regulations.
  • Familiarize with fire alarm system operations and report incidents to management.
  • Respond to emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, or other emergency services as needed.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to emergency response, coordinating with management and emergency services.
  • Document daily activities and irregularities for management review.
  • Report maintenance issues such as burned-out lights, leaks, or broken equipment to the office daily.
Work Environment

The environment will primarily be indoor, requiring frequent standing and regular walking around the property, both interior and exterior.

Physical Demands

The role requires occasional sitting, standing, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and pushing/pulling. Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills are necessary, along with the ability to follow instructions and detect emergency alarms. Noise levels are usually low to moderate.

Position Details

This is a non-exempt, full-time position. Work hours will be determined by property needs and may vary. No travel is expected for this role.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer software, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Minimum six months of related experience or training.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish may be required at some locations.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
Supervision

Reports directly to the department supervisor and/or the community manager.
