Job summary

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center in Breckenridge, Colorado is seeking a seasonal Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest service at the main contact point of the hotel. You will prepare check-in packets and folios, check guests in and out, and address inquiries while coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance and security to meet guest needs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of front desk or customer service experience, cash handling skills, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• 1+ years front desk/customer service experience
• 1+ years cash handling experience
• Experience with Springer Miller hotel management software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Prepare check-in packets and folios
• Check guests in and out of the hotel
• Answer questions and address concerns
• Communicate with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security) about guest needs
• Accurately handle transactions at Front Desk
• Maintain and balance cash bank

Often the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent must first and foremost provide excellent, friendly service to our guests. The Agent is responsible for preparing check-in packets; checking in and checking out guests; answering questions and addressing concerns; and handling transactions at the front desk. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced and often stressful environment while maintaining a friendly disposition throughout. Housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position.
