Qualifications

• One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous admissions experience preferred.
• Equivalents in education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital telecommunications via phones, pagers, paging system, radio or computer to connect visitors, callers, staff, patients and families.
• Assist the admissions department with consents and referrals.
• Maintain records related to telecommunications (e.g., long distance calls, on-call staff, pages).
• Support the hospital's mission and guiding principles in daily practice.
