Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is a fast-growing multi-specialty dental group in the United States. The role involves coordinating patient care, managing insurance information, and scheduling while traveling to multiple sites as needed.

Ideal candidates will have dental office experience, familiarity with Open Dental or Dentrix, and a bilingual Spanish proficiency to support our diverse patient base and clinics nationwide.

Qualifications

• Previous dental experience is preferred.
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Active driver's license may be required for travel to different work sites.

Responsibilities

• Engage and entertain patients with a BIG personality.
• Educate patients and community through outreach.
• Collect insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Ensure payments are collected at time of service.
• Input data to create insurance claims.
• Gather patient health history as required.
• Schedule daily appointments.
• Prepare data for pre-authorizations of treatment.
• Support team and assist where needed.
• Daily housekeeping duties as needed.

Job description

The company’s team of 100+ award-winning doctors provide a full range of general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and board-certified pediatric dental services Rodeo locations throughout the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous dental experience is preferred
• Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• This position may require the employee to use his/her personal vehicle to travel to different work sites during the course of the work day, which means you would need an active, valid Driver's License.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must bring that BIG personality to engage and entertain our patients
• Educate our patients and surrounding community through ongoing outreach efforts
• Collect the appropriate information from our patients to verify insurance eligibility
• Ensure patient payments are collected at time of service.
• Input the required data to create insurance claims
• Gather patient health history as required
• Schedule appointments with our patients daily
• Gather the appropriate data to obtain pre-authorizations for treatment
• Support your team
• Daily housekeeping (will be shared with other staff)
• Performs all other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
