Job summary

Mr. Pot Pie in East Aurora, NY is looking for a friendly Part-Time Counter Associate to join our team as we roll out the 716 Bagel Co. concept. You will greet customers, help them choose pot pies, soups, and baked goods, and operate the Square POS while keeping displays neat.

Training is provided with a clear path to full-time as we expand. Weekend availability is required, and you will be part of a growing local business focused on great service and quality.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive personality with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to train the right person.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Assist customers with selecting pot pies, soups, baked goods, and other products.
• Operate the Square point-of-sale system and accurately process transactions.
• Package products neatly and efficiently.
• Prepare coffee and beverages as needed.
• Keep displays stocked, clean, and attractive throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean dining area, front counter, and workstations.
• Help receive and stock deliveries.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• As the store expands, learn bagel preparation, sandwich assembly, and additional food service responsibilities.
