Job summary

Petee's Pie Company in Brooklyn is seeking a friendly Counter Server for part-time shifts. You will greet customers, ring up orders on our POS, and help keep the café running smoothly.

The role requires 1+ year café experience and NYC Food Handler's certification (company covers the cost). Base pay is $18/hr plus tips, with typical take-home around $25/hr. Night and weekend availability is a must, with a fun, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional restaurant or café experience.
• NYC Food Handler's certificate, or you get one soon after you're hired. This is required, and we cover the cost.
• Availability for nights and weekends, including around holidays.
• Keep energy up and stay organized under pressure, even late in a shift.
• Team player who takes feedback well and adapts quickly.
• Able to carry 50 lbs up and down stairs.
• Espresso experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

You'll be the face of Petee's for the neighborhood: getting to know regulars, helping first-timers pick a slice, and keeping the café running smoothly from rush to close.
