Job summary

ZIPS Cleaners is seeking a Front Counter Manager to oversee all front-of-house operations, train staff, manage customer interactions, and handle cash management. You will also supervise Tagger/Assigner roles and maintain store standards per the franchisee’s procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Dry clean industry experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a dry cleaning, retail, and/or food service environment.
• Experience with franchise system a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH operations and train FOH staff.
• Manage customer interactions and cash handling.
• Tag and assign training responsibilities.
• Hire, train and develop staff.
• Schedule staff using PPOH metrics.
• Balance cash drawer, deposits and change orders.
• Ensure supply costs and inventory are controlled.
• Maintain safety and security guidelines.
