Description

Position Summary: The Personality position is responsible for taking food orders, assisting in ordering, and acting as a cashier at the front counter or drive-thru window. It also supports activities in the dining/front area of the restaurant.

Primary Responsibilities

The following duties are representative but not exhaustive:

• Greet guests and assist with product selection at the counter or drive-thru.
• Recommend products, including promotional items and food contents.
• Verify legal age for alcohol purchases.
• Perform cashier transactions, including totaling, charging, and giving change.
• Prepare drinks, salads, trays, etc., as needed.
• Inform guests about service procedures and facilities.
• Deliver orders and check guest satisfaction.
• Complete drive-thru order dispatch procedures.
• Serve as host/hostess during high capacity, manage reservations, and inform guests of wait times.
• Restock and maintain cleanliness of front areas and restrooms.
• Answer phones professionally and respond to inquiries.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to follow instructions and solve simple problems.
• Basic arithmetic skills, including handling money.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of constructing simple sentences and handling basic data.
• Effective communication and a friendly demeanor.
• No prior experience required.

Licenses/Certificates: May require a Food Handler’s permit, Foodservice Sanitation Certification, or other permits as per local laws.

Physical Demands
