Angel Biscuit Co. by day and Emily Pizza by night in West Ashley is hiring Prep Cooks and Bakers to build the foundation of scratch-made breakfast and pizza offerings.

You’ll prepare ingredients, bake biscuits, and dough, following recipes with attention to quality and consistency. Join a collaborative kitchen team that values pride in fresh, from-scratch food, strong work ethic, and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant prep, baking, pastry, or scratch-kitchen experience.
• Experience working with dough; biscuit, bread, or pizza dough is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes, weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Strong teamwork and communication within a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and recipes from scratch for breakfast and pizza menus.
• Mix, portion, shape, proof, and bake biscuits with consistency and quality.
• Prepare, portion, proof, and store pizza dough according to recipe standards.
• Follow baking procedures, weighing, temperature control, fermentation, and timing.
• Complete daily prep lists and keep kitchen stocked and ready for service.
• Prepare sauces, proteins, produce, toppings per recipe and quality standards.
• Safely use mixers, ovens, scales, and other kitchen equipment.
• Label, date, rotate, store, and minimize food waste.
