SeoulSpice in Arlington, VA is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Leader to manage daily kitchen operations, oversee prep, and ensure ingredients are prepared from scratch to SeoulSpice standards.

You will train Sous Chefs, plan daily prep, manage inventory, and keep the kitchen organized during busy shifts while upholding our core values of Vibrancy, Respect, Dedication, Teamwork, and Growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen and preparing food from scratch.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.
• Enjoys training, supporting, and working alongside team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in preparing produce, sauces, marinades, and proteins from scratch.
• Plan daily prep to ensure fresh food without excess waste.
• Train and support Sous Chefs while keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly.
• Keep track of inventory, deliveries, labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and coordinate with front-line team for service flow.
