Tatte Bakery & Café is seeking a Baker in New York, NY area to prepare, shape, and bake items in Pastry, Bread, or Viennoiserie. You will work in a fast-paced bakery, ensuring quality and cleanliness while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in high-volume bakery production or kitchen environment.
• Team player with passion for pastries and quality.
• Keen eye for freshness and cleanliness.
• Willing to learn and handle a fast-paced setting.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
• Must be available for at least one weekend shift per weekend.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select ingredients following recipes
• Scale recipes to match production needs
• Sheet, shape, and prepare doughs in a modern manufacturing environment
• Build composed desserts
• Make house-made jams, fillings, mousses, and more
• Top, finish, and decorate desserts
• Adhere to cleanliness and FDA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
