Job summary

The University of North Texas in Frisco seeks an Admissions Recruiter to support outreach, recruitment, and guidance for prospective students across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will coordinate visits, counsel applicants, and help implement new enrollment initiatives under the Admissions leadership.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of recruiting-related experience, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel and work occasional evenings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services or related experience or can substitute education for experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills required for outreach to diverse student populations.
• Ability to travel, work evenings and weekends, and manage recruitment events across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities

• Schedule regular visits with students and counselors in assigned territories.
• Develop recruitment plans to move students through the admissions funnel to enrollment.
• Provide high-level customer service to prospective students and families in person, by phone, and via email.
• Plan and participate in admissions recruitment events on campus and at schools in the assigned territory.
• Demonstrate professionalism with admissions staff and partners; maintain data-driven communications.
