Potbelly Corporate is hiring for a part-time Team Member in Blaine, MN. You will work across multiple stations in a fast-paced, friendly setting and handle cash, prep, and front-of-house duties.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and safety standards. Applicants must be 16+, able to stand for extended periods, and may be asked to participate in knife-related tasks. AI hiring tools may be used in the process.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment (knife skills a big plus).
• Ability to manage allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
• You're a team player.
• Able to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Illinois Applicants - food safety certification within 30 days if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Follow health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.).
• If 18 or older, use the automatic slicer to prep food items.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register: balance cash handling procedures.
• Handle customer complaints/issues effectively.
• Takes delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
