Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Minnesota is hiring associates to deliver fast, friendly service in a busy kitchen and dining area. You will handle orders, prep items, and maintain cleanliness while delivering an excellent guest experience.

Ideal candidates are 16+, with good communication skills, team mindset, and ability to stand for long periods. Training includes health standards and allergen awareness; flexible schedules offered.

Qualifications

• you are at least 16 years of age
• friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• comfortable in a bustling kitchen environment (knife skills a plus)
• able to manage allergens: peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish
• team player
• stand/walk minimum 3 hours; lift up to 50 lb occasionally
• Illinois applicants must be food safety certified within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager
• adhere to health, safety, cleanliness standards
• restock food line, chips and cooler
• prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream)
• if 18+, operate the automatic slicer
• clean surfaces, tables, floors, and utensils; take out trash
• operate cash register and balance cash handling procedures
• address customer complaints and handle orders by phone
• perform other duties as assigned
