Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join the store team as a Self-Checkout Attendant and Cashier. The role involves providing excellent customer service at a 24/7 operation, handling cash and transactions accurately, and assisting customers at check stands or the customer service desk.

Responsibilities include operating POS equipment, processing payments, maintaining pricing accuracy, and ensuring a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, cooperative service to customers in a 24/7 retail environment.
• Handle cash, checks, coupons, and other payments accurately and securely.
• Operate check stand equipment and SCO/self-checkout when assigned.
• Demonstrate effective communication with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers at cashier or self-checkout.
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS stations.
• Maintain knowledge of product locations and pricing.
• Ensure clean, organized, and safe check stands.
• Assist at customer service counter as needed.
• Follow all laws regarding sale of restricted items (tobacco/alcohol).
