ShopRite of Cromwell is seeking a Cashier to deliver a great customer experience at the front-end. You will scan, price, bag products and handle payments with accuracy and courtesy.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service and product knowledge. This Full Time position includes benefits and growth opportunities at Cromwell, CT.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the duration of shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to handle fresh, dried, and processed foods without negative allergic consequences.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Must interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Must work cooperatively with others.
• Must follow attendance policies and work all assigned schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment according to QA standards.
• Keep floor clear of debris and spills.
• Perform duties in accordance with Company rules, safety requirements, and security standards.
• Dress and groom according to Company policy, including uniform and hat/hair restraint.
