Sprouts Farmers Market in Los Angeles is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, process transactions quickly and accurately, and help maintain a clean, welcoming checkout area.

You will handle cash, credit and debit payments, assist shoppers with finding products, and contribute to a team-focused, health-conscious shopping experience. Flexible availability including nights and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with complete customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean, orderly condition and stock shelves as needed.
• Assist customers with locating products and information and relay promotions when applicable.
• Communicate effectively with front end management and fellow staff.
