Sprouts Farmers Market in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the face of the store, processing transactions quickly and accurately while delivering outstanding service.

You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, provide product location directions, and maintain clean checkout areas. This role requires reliability, flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to multi-task, stay organized, and perform repetitious tasks.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push/pull carts as needed.
• Strong numeracy and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change.
• Assist customers by providing information and locating products in the store.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the front end manager and Head Cashier.
