You’ll handle cash and card payments, assist shoppers with locating items, and maintain a clean, efficient checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience. The role requires reliability, strong math skills, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and positive attitude when interacting with customers.
• Ability to operate register, calculator, and scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong numeracy and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change ensuring accuracy.
• Provide information and resolve customer questions and complaints.
• Maintain checkout areas clean and orderly; assist with stocking shelves.
• Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier.
• Know weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations.
