Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Cashier to greet shoppers, process transactions, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced setting. You will handle cash and card payments, assist customers with locating items, and help keep checkout areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities include stocking, scanning, and assisting with weekly ads and store events. The role requires reliability, strong math skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule that changes with the business; nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as required; manual dexterity and reading/writing/counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change; assist customers with information and questions.
• Stock shelves, face and dust as needed; maintain clean, orderly checkout areas.
• Direct customers to product locations and stay informed about weekly ads and events.
• Maintain communication with front end manager and Head Cashier; perform related duties as assigned.
