Job summary

Johnny’s Markets (1780 - Reed City) is seeking Crew Members to greet customers, operate the checkout, and help keep the store clean and welcoming. You will contribute to a positive shopping experience and community connection by delivering friendly service and accuracy at the register.

We offer competitive hourly pay ($15-17/hour) with both full-time and part-time schedules, flexible benefits after the introductory period, and opportunities to grow with Michigan-based family-owned stores.

Qualifications

• Ability to greet customers and communicate professionally.
• Ability to accurately count cash and make change.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must read and follow operating manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Listen to customer requests and relay to management as needed.
• Operate the cash register and provide correct change.
• Request IDs for alcohol/tobacco in compliance with laws.
• Help prepare coffee and food to meet quality standards.
• Restock shelves and maintain store appearance.
• Perform housekeeping as needed and other tasks from manager.
