Job summary

Johnny’s Markets is seeking Crew Members in Michigan to be the face of the store, greet customers, and help at the checkout. You will play a key role in turning shoppers into repeat customers and supporting the community.

This role requires friendly communication, accurate cash handling, and the ability to follow operating procedures. Benefits and full-time opportunities are available in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and courtesy when engaging with shoppers.
• Able to count cash accurately and give correct change.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read and interpret operating manuals and procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist at checkout.
• Listen to customer requests or concerns and relay to management.
• Operate the cash register and provide correct change.
• Request ID for alcohol or tobacco in line with laws.
• Prepare Johnny’s coffee and food to high standards.
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed during shift.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep the store clean and welcoming.
• Take on tasks assigned by the manager.
