Job summary

Johnny’s Markets in Centreville, MI is seeking Crew Members to greet customers, operate the register, and help with fresh food and beverages. You’ll be the face of the store, ensuring friendly service and a clean, welcoming environment.

This is an hourly role with a pay range of $15–$17 per hour. Full- and part-time options, benefits after 60 days, and opportunities to grow with a community-focused Michigan chain.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and courteous communication.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate a register.
• Read and interpret operating manuals and instructions.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Say hello and thank you to every customer and create a positive shopping experience.
• Listen to customer requests or concerns and relay them to management.
• Operate the cash register and give proper change.
• Request ID for alcohol or tobacco as required by laws.
• Follow directions to prepare coffee and food to quality standards.
• Restock shelves and keep displays organized.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with other tasks as needed.
