Job summary

NEXPLORE is seeking an enthusiastic part‑time Instructor to lead in‑person STEAM sessions in Los Altos, CA. Classes run Friday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, with compensation of $60 per class. You will work with trained curriculum and teach students across PreK‑12 in a classroom setting.

You will join a national enrichment team and report to a Program Success Manager. A degree in education or related teaching experience is preferred, and reliability plus strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Part-time position with a fixed schedule.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children and in educational settings.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, in‑person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
• Prepare for instruction using provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.
• Teach students in grades PreK-12 as assigned; report to Program Success Manager.
• Review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction; arrive on time.
• Engage in professional and responsive communication with site staff.
