Job summary

Centerboard in Lynn, MA is seeking a Part Time Direct Care Staff for a Friday and Saturday overnight shift (11 PM–7 AM) to support youth in a safe, structured, trauma-informed environment.

You’ll supervise daily living, assist with transportation, appointments, school, and plan activities, while maintaining detailed documentation. The role includes medication administration under MAP certification, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with treatment teams to promote healthy youth development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience working with youth or in a residential setting preferred.
• Must pass an initial competency evaluation and participate in ongoing training and development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willing to use a personal vehicle when agency vehicles are unavailable.
• Must be able to complete trainings and adhere to program and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily logs, incident reports, progress notes, and program paperwork (documentation ~50%).

• Participate in treatment meetings, maintain awareness of IBSPs, and advocate for residents.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining a **safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment** while supporting youth through daily routines, emotional challenges, and skill development.You’ll actively teach healthier coping strategies, respond to crises, and model positive behaviors.
