Job summary

ShopRite’s Englewood location is hiring a Seafood Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in the seafood department. You will prepare and package fresh and frozen seafood, ensure proper dating and rotation, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for customers and associates.

The role requires English proficiency, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the stamina to stand and perform duties for long shifts. Benefits include health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Able to handle fresh, frozen, and processed seafood responsibly.
• Must tolerate dust and chemical exposure during housekeeping duties.
• Ability to perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Receive, code-date, prepare, store, price-mark, scale, and restock products.
• Differentiate seafood types and explain usage and pricing differences.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Unload and transport products within the department.
• Follow safety and QA standards and Company policies.
