Job summary

ShopRite of Edgewater Commons is seeking a Seafood Clerk to deliver excellent customer experience in the Seafood Department. Duties include preparing and packing fresh and frozen seafood, stocking, and ensuring product quality and proper rotation.

The role requires strong English reading/writing, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good teamwork. Must be 18+ and able to work varied shifts. Benefits include vision, dental, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and understand instructions.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed seafood products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Prepare, pack and display seafood according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the seafood area.
• Check temperatures, rotate stock and ensure accurate pricing.
• Follow QA and sanitation requirements and safety rules.
• Assist in unloading trucks and stocking seafood items.
