Job summary

Harps Food Stores, Inc. is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to keep the department ready, well stocked, and safe, while delivering excellent customer service. You will manage replenishment, inventory, displays, and food safety standards across daily operations.

This role emphasizes problem solving, relationship building with teammates, and upholding Harps' standards for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. Flexible scheduling may be required to cover evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
Ability to interpret and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Produce Department Operations – readiness, staffing, cleanliness, inventory.
Replenishment & Inventory Procedures – ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock.
Merchandising & Sales Floor Standards – stocking, displays, signing.
Fresh Food Preparation & Production – maintain food safety standards.
Problem Solving – define issues and use reasoning to resolve them.
Safety/Quality Orientation – emphasize high quality and safety.
