Harps Food Stores, Inc. is seeking a Produce Clerk to support department operations, ensure readiness, and assist with inventory and merchandising. Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to different situations and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce Department Operations – support department readiness, staffing, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department goals and cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Replenishment & Inventory Procedures – assist with ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks.
• Merchandising & Sales Floor Standards – maintain stocking, rotation, signing, displays, sampling, and department procedures.
• Fresh Food Preparation & Production – support food safety standards, preparation, production requirements, cool standards, and service counters.
• Problem Solving – identify issues and use critical thinking to obtain answers.
• Safety/Quality Orientation – emphasize high quality and safety procedures.
