Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk in Newnan, GA to stock, rotate, and present fresh produce while delivering exceptional customer service. You will help customers with selections, maintain product quality, and ensure pricing accuracy in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires basic physical stamina, the ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
• Have good communication skills; ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
• Requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the work day and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 72”, for a distance up to 3 feet for between 10-50 hours without mechanical assistance
• Be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift
• Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and ensure correct presentation, tagging and pricing
• Maintain high product knowledge and proper product preparation
• Manage inventory control to maximize freshness and availability; answer customer questions in a friendly manner
• Support rotation of merchandise and safe handling in the Produce area
• Assist customers with their fresh produce selections and provide excellent service
• Operate within store policies and maintain a clean, organized department
