Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to stock, merchandize and present fresh produce with a strong customer service focus. You will maintain pricing accuracy, rotate stock and ensure product freshness in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires standing and walking all shift, lifting up to 50 lbs and operating in a team setting while adhering to safety standards. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is common.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends and holidays.
• Show respect for others and uphold Sprouts diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and interact well with customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team.
• Be able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Stand, walk, bend, climb; lift up to 50 lbs; operate 20 lb cart; long shifts.
• Be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights & Measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and present product per department schematics.
• Maintain tag and pricing accuracy and provide high level customer service.
• Rotate inventory and ensure product freshness and availability.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
