Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to join our fast-paced, customer-focused produce team. You will stock, present, and rotate items, ensuring accurate pricing and fresh, appealing displays throughout the day.

You will engage customers, maintain product knowledge, and support inventory control while following safety guidelines. A rewarding, growth-oriented environment awaits in retail.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Mutual respect for others and a high level of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing all day; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver objects.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock Produce department, present products, face shelves, and ensure pricing accuracy as set by department schematics.
• Stocking, rotation, trimming, and merchandising to maintain fresh, high-quality offerings.
• Maintain inventory control to maximize freshness and availability.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
