Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Produce Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will handle, stock and merchandise farm-fresh produce, ensuring proper pricing, freshness and friendly service to shoppers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude, with opportunities to engage customers and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across the Produce department.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate mutual respect and uphold Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Maintain a positive attitude and interact well with customers.
• Have good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods; operate possible equipment as needed.
• Walk up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift and comply with safety/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stock the Produce department and merchandise according to department schematics with accurate pricing.
• Maintain product freshness through proper trimming, watering, rotation, and facing.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ensure inventory control and high-quality produce offerings in a fast-paced setting.
