Job summary

Qualifications

• Food prep duties include cutting, slicing, peeling fruits and vegetables as per recipes.
• Maintain an inventory of prep items per production guides and rotate stock.
• Follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life.
• Notify management of discrepancies such as spoilage, waste, or out-of-spec products.
• Assist the Buffet Attendant in keeping the buffet area full, clean, and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prep items according to product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains standard inventory of prep items per guides and updates as directed.
• Rotates and labels bulk produce; ensures items are properly stored.
• Cleans and organizes prep area, coolers, and equipment to ensure hygiene.
• Supports just-in-time delivery and adheres to health department regulations.
