Job summary

H.E.B. Odessa TX is seeking a Perishable Representative to keep the department well-stocked and inviting while delivering superior customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily, and ensure all department and sanitation standards are met.

You'll handle customer questions, take orders, and assist shoppers with selections. Duties span Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce and Seafood, with safety and teamwork essential in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Telxon, ACR and label machine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate display cases and related equipment.
• Assist in Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce and Seafood areas as needed.
• Communicate product knowledge and assist customers with selections.
