Job summary

H-E-B in Austin, TX is seeking a Perishable Representative to keep the department well-stocked and inviting while delivering outstanding customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, rotate stock, label items, and assist customers with selections, all while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Training provided. Additional responsibilities include working across Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce and Seafood areas, following SOPs and store procedures

• Reading and writing skills; planning and organizing.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily.
• Rotate, label, and scan items for production; maintain display areas.
• Merchandise and promote products using suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and follow SOPs.
• Assist in other department tasks as needed to support the team.
