Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Perishable Representative to maintain a well-stocked department and deliver outstanding customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding all department and food safety standards.

You will assist customers, answer questions, and help with selections. Expect responsibilities across Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, and Seafood areas with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers by phone or in person.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain department cleanliness and food safety/sanitation compliance.
• Merchandise product effectively and use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs.
• Rotate and stock products, label, and price items; ensure proper product rotation.
• Assist in department-specific areas (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood) as needed.
