Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Perishable Representative to maintain a well-stocked, well-organized department with excellent customer service. Responsibilities include preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products daily while upholding food safety standards and SOPs.

You will handle orders, answer questions, rotate products, and support hospitality across Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, and Seafood sections. Prior experience with Telxon and labeling systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Reading and writing skills are required.
• Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
• Experience with Telxon, ACR, and labeling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with product selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while maintaining food safety standards.
• Stock and rotate perishable items; ensure display cases are clean and sanitized.
• Operate in various departments (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood) per shifts and instructions.
• Maintain proper product rotation, labeling, and pricing; assist in sales initiatives.
