Job summary

H-E-B in Austin, TX seeks a Perishable Representative to keep the department well-stocked and service-oriented. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily while upholding food safety standards.

You will assist customers, rotate stock, label items, operate Telxon for production, and support the Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, and Seafood areas as needed. Ability to lift up to 90 lbs required.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write effectively and follow SOPs.
• Experience with basic computer systems and retail equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily.
• Rotate stock, label items, and scan items on Telxon.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per food safety standards.
• Support departments (Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, Seafood) as needed.
• Perform duties in accordance with department SOPs and store procedures.
