Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Fremont, CA is seeking a team member to support produce and grocery operations. You will maintain fresh displays, stock cases, rotate inventory, and ensure accurate pricing while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will assist with seasonal items, monitor spoilage, follow health and sanitation standards, and participate in opening, mid, and closing shifts as needed. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked; check codes and rotate stock.
• Assist in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling; answer phones promptly.
• Maximize sales through proper merchandising; stocking and rotating products.
• Follow health, sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintain clean, sanitary environment and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
