Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Fresh Cuts Associate to support the Line Leader on the production line, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work area while efficiently completing packing tasks. The role requires observant, proactive communication of improvements and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include assisting with line transitions between shifts, maintaining paperwork, and supporting continuous improvement with the team. On-the-job training is provided, no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience: No experience required; on the job training provided.
• 6+ months in a food production, warehouse, or general labor role (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned packing or processing tasks on the production line.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Assist Line Leader in preparing and transitioning the line between shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Identify quality or safety concerns and report to Line Leader.
• Assist in moving materials and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain accurate records or labels when required.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team initiatives.
