Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the Produce Department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service that keeps customers coming back. You'll rotate products, check deliveries, and help customers find what they need, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

If you enjoy staying active and working as part of a team, we'd love to have you on our team. Training is provided with no extensive experience required.

Qualifications

• Apply basic math for quick transactions and counts.

• Adhere to sanitation and department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and assisting needs.
• Review merchandise freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality.
• Ensure adequate product supply and prepare production lists for the department.
• Check in product, stock away items, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as necessary.
• Maintain sanitary, clean, and safe work areas at all times.
• Remove trash promptly and assist with department upkeep.
• Order product and supplies and price products for customers as needed.
• Answer phones promptly and provide helpful service to callers.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and all department guidelines.
