Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring a Produce Clerk in the Nebraska location. You will keep the Produce department stocked, fresh, and inviting, and provide friendly service to customers. Daily duties include stocking, rotating products, checking in deliveries, and assisting shoppers with product selection.

You will follow safety and sanitation procedures, work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Training is provided, with emphasis on accuracy and customer care.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with their needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Check in, stock, rotate, and replenish produce to maintain freshness and appearance.
• Review invoices, price products, and ensure product availability for customers.
• Maintain sanitation and safety by cleaning work area and following guidelines.
• Assist with department upkeep, loading/unloading deliveries, and general tasks as needed.
