Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department Associate to provide quality customer service and maintain product standards. You will handle deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure proper display of meat, dairy, and other perishables while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service, accurate operations, and adherence to company policies. Training and CBT courses are required to maintain high store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and operate store tools.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for the position.
• Physically able to perform required duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and stock merchandise, and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, and other perishables per guidelines.
• Follow Food Lion safety and work rules; observe proper sanitation practices.
• Wear uniform and name badge; complete required training and CBT modules.
