Job summary

H.E.B. seeks a Perishable Representative to keep the department well-stocked and maintained while delivering excellent customer service. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

You will handle customer inquiries by phone or in person, rotate stock, and support department-specific areas such as Aguas, Floral, Market, Produce, and Seafood with proper product knowledge and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Strong reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to plan and organize work.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and assist shoppers.
• Prepare, package, and merchandize fresh products daily.
• Merchandise products and use suggestive selling to boost sales.
• Clean and sanitize display cases and follow safety standards.
• Follow department SOPs and assist in department-specific tasks as assigned.
